Illustration: 3 Moons

For research, I normally try to study and prepare as much as possible, before and during my drawings. For dragons, I normally take a lot of my inspirations from reptiles – for this dragon, I took my inspiration from lizards. I took note of their body shape, head and eyes, their claws and their scales. My intention was to put in as much details as possible.
